Where to Find Simple and Classy Save The Date Invites For Your Wedding

If you’ve been following me on Instagram you know I am planning my wedding - YAY.

I love planning events, but this is different. This is a whole new level of planning, organizing, budgeting, sourcing, etc.

I’ve been spending a lot of time on Pinterest and Google searching for ideas and amazing vendors that have the same vibe I do.

I recently came across Basic Invite and you need to check them out. They are a vibe. No matter your style, they have something that will suit your needs — and best of all it’s affordable and EASY to use.

If you are planning your wedding, their save the date invites and save the date postcard templates are the first place to start. Well… all of their things are worth checking out, but that’s where I would start.

No matter your colour scheme - or if you’re like me and don’t have a colour scheme but an overall vibe - Basic Invite is one of the few websites I’ve come across that has unlimited colour options. Once you select your save the date invite or wedding card, you can change the colour of every detail so it is EXACTLY what you want. We are talking about 180 colour options.

Oh, they also have 40 colour options for envelopes so your entire invite is an aesthetic masterpiece. And if you hate licking the envelope Basic Invite understands the struggle and has made their envelopes peel and seal. Yes, please!

As a bonus, they even have an address collection for FREE. How awesome is that? I don’t know about you, but I know the address of maybe six people invited to our wedding. The rest I just know how to show up at their homes lol

To collect the address, you just need to share a link with your family and friends, they input their information and then you get a free envelope printing with their information. Simple and easy.

These are some of the save the date postcards I got my eyes on:

You can also upload your own design if you're a savvy designer AND get a sample sent before you commit.

Basic Invite allows you to order a printed invitation sample to ensure you like the look and quality before you fully commit. They just get it. Your wedding is a huge event and they want to ensure your invites are not an added stress to your big day.

PS: They also have business items like business cards, stationery, and much more.
