3 Tips to Stay Motivated and Focused

Need a boost of motivation and focus?

Well, let’s take it a step further and give you the tools to keep focused and motivated throughout the year.

Here are 3 tips that will help you stay committed and driven:

1.You need a north star.
1) What are you working towards? What is/are your goal(s)?
2) Who are you doing this for?
3) Why are you doing this? Why are you going after your goal? What changes in your life and the life of those around you when you hit your goal?

Having as much clarity as possible on your north star will help keep you going. No matter what path you take and what you choose to focus on today, as long as it is aligned with your North Star, it is a good choice.

Knowing why are doing this and whom you are doing this for will help keep you motivated even on the days you don’t want to show up.

2.Create a strategy.

One way we self-sabotage is by not creating a plan or strategy. In order to have fun in your life and business you actually need a strategy. You need to be able to take everything out of your brain and put it into a calendar and to-do list. This holds you accountable, clears your mental space & capacity, and allows you to have fun knowing everything is taken care of.

If you need help with this inside your business, book a planning session with me and we can clear this up in 90 minutes.

3.Let go of your failures.

The weight of our past failures can crush our motivation. We focus on the things that did not work and sabotage our next step forward for fear of repeating the same mistakes.

Take a moment to let go of your failures. Grab a piece of paper and write out all your failures that come to mind (life, relationships, carer, business, school, etc.). Next to each failure write the lesson you learned from that experience (and yes there is a lesson for every failure). Forgive yourself for not having known then what you know now. Leave the failures in the past and bring the lessons with you.
